Isa's 2012 sale average tops $3400

Isa Cattle Company Inc.'s 51st bull sale at Producers Auction in San Angelo saw 36 buyers from eight U.S. states and two Mexican states take home 149 Beefmaster and Charolais bulls for an average of $3,413.00.

The top bull, L Bar 1171, was purchased by Pearce Flournoy of Likely, California, for $7,000.

Duda & Sons, Inc., FL—20; Cannon Kirk, MS—13; Lykes Bros., Inc., FL—13; Justin Johnson, NM—11; Rafter T Ranch, FL—8; Wedgeworth Family, TX—7; Wingate Ranch, TX—6; Immokalee Ranch, FL—6; Jay Black, NV—6; Skipper Hicks, TX—6; Half Circle L, FL—5; John Graham, FL—4; Arturo Siller Group, MX—5; Raulerson Cattle, FL—4; Shawn Goemmer, NV—4; Bexley Bros., Inc., FL—3; Chuck Petroff, OR—3; Frank & Sims Price, TX—3; Yellow Bluff Creek Ranch, Inc., FL—3; Jimmy Halfmann, TX—3; Pearce Flournoy, CA—2; Dry Devils River Ranch Partnership, TX—2; Roy Barrett, TX—2; Joey Pierce, TX—2; Todd Hemstalk, CA—2; Gray's Ranch, LA—2; and Curt Stodtmeister, NV—2.

Other buyers included D Bar R Cattle, FL; Bill Broussard, FL; Harold Albers, TX; Paul Jopling, TX and Jim Deal, TN.

The solid sale, from top to bottom, was thanks to 27 repeat customers present, including a number of third-generation buyers, according to Lorenzo Lasater, Isa's President and CEO.
